SERVICE
Dr. Lauren Smits grew up in Greenwood, Indiana and received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Notre Dame. She was active with several service organizations at Notre Dame. This strengthened her desire to serve her community in the healthcare field. Dr. Lauren found a passion for dentistry and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2013. She led a family dental practice in The Woodlands, Texas before moving to Argyle in 2019, where she is still a neighbor of Dr. Matt and his family.
COMMITMENT
Dr. Lauren is committed to lifelong learning and staying up to date with the latest technology. She has held memberships with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Brazos Valley Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has special training in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, and CEREC restorations.
PASSION
Dr. Lauren met her husband, Bryan, working at Camp Sweeney in Gainesville, Texas where they led and mentored children with Type 1 Diabetes. They married in Coppell, Texas in 2010 and are the proud parents of three young children. As a family, they enjoy visiting their parent’s ranch, going to the beach and staying involved with their church.
